My name is Lara Kurt, and I am currently studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA, working on getting my degree while also collaborating with students from different majors and fields of experience.
My expertise is in UX Design, UX Research, UI Design, and Graphic Design. I have earned my Lextant Design Research and Insight Translation Certificate, and I have participated in many different UX/UI workshops to increase my knowledge in the field, such as learning about Figma and the effectiveness of design systems.
I am currently a junior at SCAD majoring in User Experience (UX) Design with a minor in Graphic Design. In addition to being a student, I am also a member of the SCAD Women’s Bowling Team, and also a member of Jr. Team USA.
As a SCAD student and being able to constantly collaborate with peers from different majors, experience, and even knowledge, has allowed me to look at projects from different perspectives.
I love creating prototypes, conducting research, and collaborating with my peers, but when I am not working on a project, I love being outdoors, hanging out with my dogs, winning championships with the SCAD Bowling Team, representing my country at international tournaments, and even enjoying food from around the world!
